Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Limited and EcoCash Holdings Zimbabwe Limited have confirmed the successful transfer of all financial technology businesses to Econet under a completed scheme of reconstruction, with their operations continuing uninterrupted as Econet subsidiaries. Consequently, EcoCash Holdings has retained Steward Bank Limited as its sole asset, with TN acquiring a 53.3 percent stake in the bank holding company subject to pending regulatory approvals to exceed the statutory ownership limit.
