Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Limited reported a 1% decline in inflation-adjusted revenue to ZW$112.4 billion and a 17% decrease in EBITDA to ZW$52.2 billion for the half year ended 31 August 2022. The company recorded a loss of ZW$5.78 billion driven by ZW$43.7 billion in foreign exchange losses and sub-optimal tariff adjustments, leading the Board to omit an interim dividend payment.
