Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Limited has announced the final results of its rights issue, which closed on 29 September 2023 and successfully raised 30,319,771.01 US dollars through the full subscription of 401,586,371 ordinary shares. The company intends to utilize the net proceeds to redeem its outstanding obligations to debenture holders, with dealings in the new rights shares expected to commence on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange on 9 October 2023.
