Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Limited reported a total revenue increase to ZWL$ 1.14 billion for the fiscal year ended 28 February 2019, while net profit decreased to ZWL$ 106.4 million following the demerger of Cassava SmarTech Zimbabwe Limited. The financial statements received an adverse audit opinion due to non-compliance with IAS 21 regarding the transition to the RTGS dollar as the functional currency, and the board did not declare a fourth-quarter dividend.
