Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Limited (the “Company”) wishes to advise our shareholders and the investing public that there will be a delay in publishing our audited financial statements for the financial year ended 29 February 2020.
There has been a delay in the publication of Cassava Smartech Zimbabwe Limited’s (“Cassava”) audited financial statements. Cassava’s financial results are equity accounted by the Company. Cassava has delayed publication of their results due to ongoing regulatory reviews on EcoCash (Private) Limited, a key subsidiary of Cassava, which are a matter of public record. We will provide an update on the publication of these results to our valued stakeholders on or before 30 September 2020.
The Company regrets any inconvenience this may cause to our valued stakeholders.
