Roy joined the Group in 2009 from Deloitte & Touche, where he was a Partner. Roy is a qualified Chartered Accountant (Zimbabwe) and past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe. He was appointed to the board in February 2016 as the Group’s Finance Director and in 2020 he was appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

Roy sits on the board of Telrad Networks Limited, which is part of Cassava Technologies Group.

He is also the winner of the IODZ Director of the Year (2022) award.
